Giggs expecting first baby

Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs and his girlfriend are expecting their first baby, the couple announced tonight.

Welsh international Giggs, who played for United today in their 4-1 FA Cup victory over Portsmouth, and his 24-year-old partner, Stacey Cooke, said they were delighted.

In a joint statement, the 29-year-old winger and Miss Cooke said: “We are both delighted by the news and we cannot wait for the birth of our baby in May.”
