McClaren waits for Ehiogu update

Middlesbrough were today waiting anxiously for an update on their England defender Ugo Ehiogu after he suffered a punctured lung and fractured ribs.

Ehiogu was hurt in an aerial collision with goalkeeper Brad Friedel early on in Boro’s 1-0 defeat at Blackburn and taken to a local hospital.
