Hoddle sweating on Richards' fitness

Dean Richards is rated as 50-50 by Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle for the trip to Newcastle on Sunday.

Centre-back Richards missed yesterday’s pulsating draw with Charlton due to an Achilles problem sustained in the 3-2 win over Manchester City earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, Christian Ziege – sent off in both those matches – should be fit after a dead leg.
