Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor will have to test the fitness of three players before finalising his side to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Skipper Steve Staunton (ankle), fellow defender Ronny Johnsen (hamstring) and midfielder Ian Taylor (thigh) all missed the midweek Worthington Cup defeat by Liverpool.
