UEFA will look at the video of Leeds’ match against Malaga before deciding whether or not to take action against Lee Bowyer for what appeared to be a stamp on the face of a Spanish player in their UEFA Cup clash last night.

The Leeds midfielder caught Gerardo from behind in the first half and was booked by Swiss referee Massimo Busacca, but the Malaga players and coaching staff were more incensed by Bowyer appearing to stamp on Gerardo’s head as he lay prone on the pitch.
