Irish fulfil their side of bargain
The director of the joint Irish/Scottish Euro 2008 bid believes Ireland has done everything asked of them - even though Croke Park is still not available.
Because the prestigious GAA venue is not available it looks like the joint Austrian/Swiss bid may get the nod instead.
But Celtic director Simon Lyons said: "Ireland has certainly delivered everything that was asked of them and everything that was required.
"We are more than happy in that regard. Our bid document is very strong and there isn't a need for us to do too much more."
