Uefa are hopeful that tonight's Champions League clash between Barcelona and Newcastle at the Nou Camp will go ahead as planned despite torrential rain.

A pitch inspection - the second of the day - has been arranged for 5pm local time, three and three-quarter hours before the scheduled kick-off.
