Cork City 2, Derry City 1 (full-time)

Cork came from behind to keep their European ambitions on track.

Derry, the only side to have won at Turner's Cross this season, took the lead on 51 minutes when Sean Hargan set up skipper Eamonn Doherty to sidefoot home.

Cork, who had missed several first half chances, rallied late on and John O' Flynn levelled on 78 minutes when his shot took a deflection off Paddy McLaughlin to beat Alan Gough.

Left-back Neal Horgan then won it for Cork two minutes from the end when his 25-yard drive flew into the top corner of Gough's net.
