McCaldon heads to Motherwell

Oxford United goalkeeper Ian McCaldon has joined Motherwell on trial with a view to a permanent move.

McCaldon has not featured for the United first team this term as Andy Woodman has been an ever-present.

Initially the player will only be training with the Scottish club, as he will not be allowed to play for the first team.

But Oxford boss Ian Atkins has confirmed a permanent transfer in January could be on the cards.
