Ronaldo has opened the scoring for European champs Real Madrid against the South American champions in the final of the Intercontinental Cup in Yokohama.

The Brazilian found the back of the net in the 14th minute after Zinedine Zidane sent the ball wide to Roberto Carlos, whose cross was dummied by Raul.

Ronaldo was on hand to sent a low shot into the bottom corner.
