Ryan Giggs has no intention of leaving Manchester United for Inter Milan.

Reports last week suggested the Italians were ready to table a multi-million pound bid for the winger when the transfer window opens again in January.

However, the 29-year-old says he would rather give up football than leave Old Trafford.

"I love playing for United," he said. "I am a United supporter, it's as simple as that.

"I am settled here and I have no ambitions to move away. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I can fulfil any dreams I have here.

"The day I don't enjoy playing for United is the day I give up football."

Giggs is quoted by the Daily Mail as claiming: "Why should I want to play for another club?

"I have enjoyed so much success here and I believe that it will continue."
