CSKA Sofia fined for fans behaviour

CSKA Sofia have been fined €21,000 for the behaviour of their fans in the UEFA Cup first-round clash against Blackburn on October 3.

The trouble started following the injury-time dismissal of Velizar Dimitrov as the Bulgarians went out on away goals despite fighting back from 3-0 down to draw the second leg in Sofia.

Israeli referee Alon Yefet and his two assistants had to be escorted down the tunnel by police with riot shields as plastic bottles and missiles rained on to the pitch.
