Paul Lambert hinted today that he could be willing to stay on at Celtic beyond his current contract and play on for Scotland at Euro 2004 – if his ageing legs can last the pace.

Paul Lambert hinted today that he could be willing to stay on at Celtic beyond his current contract and play on for Scotland at Euro 2004 – if his ageing legs can last the pace.

The 33-year-old midfielder signed a new two-year extension at Parkhead last season to take him through to 2004 and came out of international retirement for national coach Berti Vogts.
