Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle has blocked a Wolves bid to take striker Les Ferdinand on a month’s loan.

Despite speculation that former England forward Ferdinand, 35, would be on his way to Molineux today, Hoddle has revealed that it was 10 days ago when he snubbed the club’s approach.
