Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Bosnich is suffering from severe clinical depression and has been admitted to a depression unit of a medical facility.

The Australian was caught up in claims that he has tested positive for the Class A drug cocaine at the weekend.

A statement released by the 30-year-old’s management company, SEM, read: “Mark Bosnich has been diagnosed as suffering from severe clinical depression.”
