Probe into FAI's dealings of the world-cup
Details are emerging this morning of the probe into the FAI's world cup activities.
There is heavy criticism of the association over the build-up in Saipan that saw Roy Keane leave the squad. Much of the information is already in the public domain, no training gear, no special world cup footballs, no isotonic drinks and vanishing medical equipment are all singled out in the probe.
Details are in this morning's Sunday Independent, the report shows Irelands preparations were under-resourced in comparison to the build-up of other nations.
There will be no comment from the FAI until the report will be officially released on Tuesday night.
