Shels look to close gap on Bohs

Eircom League champions Shelbourne will be hoping to close the gap on current league leaders Bohemians when they meet Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park this evening.

Bohs are eight points clear at the top of the table, but Shels can cut that to five if they win at Tolka Park and if Bohs lose to Cork City at Turner's Cross tonight.

Elsewhere, FAI Cup champions Derry City will travel to Richmond Park for a meeting with St Patrick's Athletic, while UCD and Longford Town meet at Belfield Park and Drogheda United host Bray at O2 Park.

The game in Drogheda kicks off at 8pm, with all others due to begin at 7.45pm.
