Roma stun Real

A full-strength Real Madrid team were beaten 1-0 at home by Roma in the Champions League.

Francesco Totti provided the killer finish in the 27th minute.

That made it six games without a win for Real and pushed Roma level on points with the Spanish giants in Group C.

In the other Group C game, Genk's participation in the Champions League ended after they were held to a 1-1 draw by AEK Athens.

AEK still hold out hopes for a place in the next phase of the competition, although they must beat Roma in Italy in their final match.

Inter Milan turned on the style with a 3-0 win over Rosenborg thanks to the inspiration of Portuguese winger Sergio Conceicao, who created all three goals.

Inter are now level on eight points with Dutch champions Ajax, who also won. Ajax downed Lyon 2-0.

Ajax are level on points with Inter and just a point ahead of Lyon, so goal difference could prove the deciding factor in qualifying.
