Cup final scoreless at half-time

The FAI Cup final remains scoreless at half-time.
A fire in front of the main Tolka Park stand provided the main talking point of the first half with the game delayed for eight minutes while the flames beneath a floodlight pylon were put out.
Ironically the stoppage sparked the game into life from the resumption and the chances came thick and fast at either end.
Derry keeper Alan Gough was first into action with a great stop from Terry Palmer on 29 minutes.
Palmer was then back defending to get a great block on a shot from Paddy McLaughlin before Rovers keeper Tony O'Dowd made his first stop from a super Ciaran Martyn header on 40 minutes.
Gough then excelled with the save of the half from Luke Dimech as the game really opened up.
The action was back at the other end minutes later with Sean Friars forcing a tip over save from Tony O'Dowd from Martyn's cross.
