O'Neill not planning Premiership return
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill claims he is not stalling on signing a new deal so that he can win a move to the Premiership.
The Hoops boss has had talks with the Celtic board this week but uncertainty still remains as to whether he will stay at Parkhead beyond the end of the season.
But he insists he has no hidden agenda and is not eyeing a return to England.
He said: “This is not a case of myself planning ahead – I’ve never planned a move in my life.
“Those who can do that are absolutely brilliant or exceptionally lucky.
“I have never planned my managerial career.”
