Chelsea trio out

Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri is facing an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow‘s Premiership clash at Manchester City.

Ranieri is without Dutch midfielders Boudewijn Zenden and Mario Stanic while Danish forward Jesper Gronkjaer is out because of a personal problem.

Zenden sprained an ankle while playing for Holland in their 3-0 victory on Wednesday in Austria but yesterday Stanic suffered a contraction in a rib muscle during training.
