Al Fayed issues plea to Fulham fans

Mohamed Al Fayed today pleaded with stayaway Fulham fans to back the team as he attempts to turn the Cottagers into “a great force in European football”.

The Harrods boss issued a statement aimed directly at the club’s traditional followers, who are unhappy at their two-year groundshare with west London rivals Queens Park Rangers.
