Eircom League to discuss registration row

The eircom League’s board of control is due to meet this evening to discuss a registration dispute involving Longford Town’s Avery John.

The player allegedly played three games for the midlanders without securing international clearance to return to Ireland following a loan spell with Colchester United in England.
