Lavine voted eircom player of the month

Eric Lavine of Longford Town has been selected as the eircom/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland player of the month for September.

Lavine, 31, scored three times during the month as Longford claimed seven points from their games with St Pat's, Cork City and Bray Wanderers to establish their credentials as surprise Premier Division title contenders.
