The final of the FAI Cup will take place on Sunday October 27, it was confirmed today.

Following a meeting between the FAI, Derry City and Shamrock Rovers, it was decided the final will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2002, at Tolka Park with a 3pm kick-off.
