David O’Leary is the hot favourite to take on the vacant manager’s role at Sunderland as bookmakers Ladbrokes have the former Leeds United boss at odds of 5/4.

George Graham is second favourite at 5/2 to replace Peter Reid who left the Stadium of Light today.
