Bohs and Rovers angry over cup fixture
Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers have demanded compensation from football authorities if Sunday’s FAI Cup semi-final at Tolka Park does not attract a full house.
Both clubs wanted to play the fixture tonight, but claim they were led to believe that the game would be televised if it was moved to Sunday.
As it transpires, there will be no TV coverage and the two Dublin clubs are now seeking compensation from the FAI for any revenue they may lose.
Meanwhile, Cork City and Derry City will meet in the first semi-final this evening in Turner’s Cross.
