Celtic leave for Lithuania without top stars

Celtic left for Lithuania this morning without a clutch of first team stars.

Manager Martin O’Neill promised to make changes after the 8-1 first leg win over SK Suduva.

And just days before the first Old Firm match of the campaign he opted to leave some of his big guns behind.

Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton, Paul Lambert, Neil Lennon, Joos Valgaeren and Stilian Petrov were not on the flight along with club skipper Tom Boyd, whose wife had a baby last night.
