Fulham crack down on errant fans
Fulham have announced that as many as 15 members and season ticket holders face being banned from Loftus Road because of ticket irregularities.
A number of away fans found their way into home areas of the stadium at last week’s match against Chelsea and the club believe they have tracked down the sources of the tickets.
“We identified some away supporters in home areas of Loftus Road who where making a nuisance of themselves and they were ejected from the stadium as soon as it was thought safe to do so,” said deputy managing director Lee Hoos.
“Since then we have worked hard to identify the original source of these tickets.
“After careful investigation we’ve drawn up a list of 15 names and addresses, and all are either season ticket holders or club members who have quite clearly broken the rules.
“These people now face being banned from the stadium and we shall be contacting them all individually this week.
“And we will continue to search out those who openly flout the rules and when caught, they’ll be dealt with accordingly,” he told the club’s website, www.fulhamfc.co.uk.
