World Cup stars pushing for Bolton start
World Cup midfielders Jay-Jay Okocha of Nigeria and Stig Tofting of Denmark are both pushing for places in the Bolton starting line-up for tomorrow’s clash with Southampton at the Reebok Stadium.
Manager Sam Allardyce is short of numbers in midfield with Kevin Nolan and Ricardo Gardner both injured.
On-loan defender Ivan Campo is set to continue at the back against Southampton after receiving a boost yesterday when his second yellow card at Arsenal was rescinded.
Bolton squad (provisional): Jaaskelainen, Barness, Whitlow, Bergsson, Campo, Charlton, Frandsen, Warhurst, Okocha, Tofting, Farrelly, Djorkaeff, Pedersen, Holdsworth, Ricketts, Poole, Livesey, Johnson.
