Taylor unhappy with FIFA ruling

FIFA’s ruling today that players who are sent off will receive an immediate one-match ban with no appeal has been dismissed as “farcical” by players’ boss Gordon Taylor.

The ruling – which is expected to come into force in the next month – is aimed at protecting match officials after several cases in which referees’ decisions have been undermined.
