Rangers playmaker Ronald de Boer has declared himself fit for tomorrow’s UEFA Cup game in Prague.

Rangers playmaker Ronald de Boer has declared himself fit for tomorrow’s UEFA Cup game in Prague.

The Ibrox side take on Czech side Viktoria Zizkov in the first leg of their first round clash tomorrow afternoon with the Dutchman having been a doubt with a toe injury.

De Boer had been hurt during last week’s 2-0 home win over Hearts but revealed he had responded well to treatment.

He said: “It’s good, there’s no problem. I trained on Sunday and there was a lot of improvement.

“I could do everything 100% and I’m fit to play in this game.”

Rangers will be without a number of players through injury however, including defenders Lorenzo Amoruso and Arthur Numan plus midfielder Stephen Hughes.

As a result manager Alex McLeish has drafted in Scotland Under-21 international defender Andy Dowie and midfielder Jimmy Gibson.
