Danny O'Connor hit the only goal of the match to keep newly promoted Drogheda on the charge at O2 Park.

O'Connor arrived to connect with a Gary Cronin corner to score with a looping header three minutes into the second half.

The win sees Drogheda move up to third in the table and leaves UCD bottom.
