Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor is urging supporters to be “realistic” about what the club can achieve in the immediate future as he looks to build a structure aimed at bringing long-term success.

Taylor knows that he is living in a results-orientated profession as Villa look to improve on a record of only one win in the opening four Premiership games against Charlton on Wednesday.
