Gardner pins hopes on Tottenham return

Anthony Gardner is hoping for a return to action in Tottenham's trip to Fulham.

He had started Spurs' first three matches of the season until a slight groin strain ruled him out against Southampton.

Gardner told Tottenham's official website: "My aim is to stay in and play well. I want to keep my place and make sure it can only be injury that takes me out of the team."
