Bridges ready for comeback

Leeds striker Michael Bridges is poised to make his long-awaited first team return next week – in front of the manager who could be looking for a January sales bargain.

With Robbie Keane now at Spurs following his £7m (€11m) transfer window move, and Robbie Fowler still another three weeks away from a return after his summer hip operation, there is a vacancy on the Leeds’ bench for a forward.
