Arsenal defender Matthew Upson has revealed his delight at joining Reading after agreeing a three-month loan with Alan Pardew’s men.

Arsenal defender Matthew Upson has revealed his delight at joining Reading after agreeing a three-month loan with Alan Pardew’s men.

The 23-year-old, who played at the Madejski Stadium in 1999 in the England Under-21 international against Luxembourg, is expected to be in the reckoning for a place in the Royals’ starting XI against Rotherham on Saturday.
