Pat's in trouble over U21 rule breach

St Patrick’s Athletic have been kicked out of the Under-21 Enda McGuill Cup after fielding two unauthorised overage players.

The eircom League’s Under-21 committee took the action following St Pat’s first round tie against UCD on August 24, when the Richmond club played 5 players over the age of 21, exceeding the maximum of three permitted overage players are allowed.
