Mick McCarthy will put his Ireland squad through its paces again today in Dublin ahead of tomorrow's departure for Russia for Saturday's European Championship opener in Moscow.

The Irish boss will name his new captain later today, with Ipswich skipper Matt Holland and West Ham's Gary Breen among the favourites.
