Redknapp wins Division One manager award

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has won the Division One Nationwide manager of the month award for August.

Pompey have got off to a flying start under Redknapp with five wins and a draw, including Saturday’s 4-2 win over Brighton.

Brentford manager Wally Downes takes the Division Two award, the table-topping Bees having taken 14 points from their opening six games.

York City boss Terry Dolan wins the Division Three award after an impressive start in which the club have taken 13 points from their first six games.
