Fergie: Ref was right to send Roy off

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has made a U-turn and condemned Roy Keane for elbowing Jason McAteer.

Keane was sent off for the last-minute challenge on his former Republic of Ireland team-mate as Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
