Bergkamp out for Gunners

Striker Dennis Bergkamp is out of Arsenal’s trip to Chelsea with the calf injury which kept him out of the 5-2 midweek defeat of West Brom – and midfielder Patrick Vieira is rated 50-50 by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger because of the same injury.

Kanu is again in line to replace Bergkamp at Stamford Bridge and although Francis Jeffers is now close to full fitness after an ankle problem, he is not in Wenger’s squad for the match.
