Kilkenny cause upset defeating Longford

First Division Kilkenny provided the first shock of FAI Cup third round to beat Longford 1-0 at Buckley Park.

Having run the game from the start Town were caught cold at the back when Cats stole the lead on 36 minutes for what proved the only goal of the game.
