Gudjohnsen set for Chelsea bench

Eidur Gudjohnsen is fit and expected to be on the bench for the derby at Charlton.

The Iceland striker, who has not played in Chelsea's pre-season matches, has been battling to shake off a knee injury and illness.

With Mikael Forssell out until December, boss Claudio Ranieri is set to partner Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with Gianfranco Zola or Carlton Cole.

Left-back Graeme Le Saux is out with tendinitis, while centre-back John Terry is also in the Stamford Bridge treatment room.

The Blues' only summer signing, Espanyol's Enrique De Lucas, could make his debut.
