Crisis club Bradford celebrated their Football League lifeline as they turned in a committed first half display against promotion contenders Wolves.

The Bantams went close to the opening goal just four minutes into the new season when Ashley Ward headed debutant Andy Gray’s ball back across goal, but it took a fine save from Gary Walsh 11 minutes before the break to deny Wolves’ Colin Cameron.
