Town substitute Seamus Crowe hit a stoppage time winner as Drogheda self-destructed at Flancare Park, finishing with nine men.

Defender Padraig Gollogley was the first off for a second bookable offence on 56 minutes.

He was followed six minutes later when midfielder Stuart Taylor got his marching orders, also for a second yellow card, with boss Harry McCue then sent from the dugout for protesting.

Eric Lavine hit his third goal of the season to put Town in front on 25 minutes.

Hesitation in the Drogheda defence was punished as Alan Kirby's ball wasn't cleared and Lavine raced in to lob the ball over Gary Rogers.

With eight minutes remaining Andy Myler levelled with a stunning header from Brian Kelly's cross.

But Crowe shot home off a post following Sean Prunty's cross to win it for Town at the death.
