Shels to face St Pat's in FAI Cup

Eircom League champions Shelbourne have been drawn against Dublin rivals St Patrick’s Athletic in the third round of this season’s FAI Cup.

St Pat’s will no doubt see the game as a grudge match after they were docked nine points at the end of the last league season, a move that handed the title to Shels.

The third-round draw is:

Shelbourne v St Patrick's Athletics

Sligo Rovers v Bray Wanderers

Bohemians v UCD

Derry City v Waterford United

Monaghan Untied v Cork City

Shamrock Rovers v Cobh Ramblers

Kilkenny City v Longford Town

Fairview Rangers v Finn Harps.

All the games will be played on the weekend of August 17 and 18.
