Parry questions Bowyer's desire

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has declared he always had doubts about signing Lee Bowyer from Leeds.

The 25-year-old was placed on the transfer list by Leeds after he refused to sign a new deal and, with just one year remaining on his current contract, he was available for £9m (€14.4m).
