Galway boss John O'Mahony has handed Jarlath Fallon a starting spot at centre-forward ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final clash with Kerry.

Fallon comes into the team in the only change to the starting line up that beat Sligo in the Connacht final last time out.

Skipper Padraig Joyce was an injury doubt for the Croke Park date earlier in the week after fears he had broken a bone in his hand.

But along with Gary Fahey and Michael Donnellan, who sat out a challenge match against Sligo last weekend, the trio line out against Kerry in a repeat of the 2000 All-Ireland final. Kerry name their side on Thursday night.

Galway: A Keane; K Fitzgerald, G Fahey, R Fahey; D Meehan, T Mannion, S Og

de Paor; K Walsh, M Donnellan; P Clancy, J Fallon, J Bergin; D Savage, P

Joyce, M Clancy.
