Fowler to see surgeon

Leeds striker Robbie Fowler will visit a surgeon tomorrow about the hip injury which has forced him to return home early from the club’s tour of Australia and the Far East.

The 27-year-old England frontman was on his way back from Bangkok today as the rest of his team-mates prepared for the final game of their trip in Thailand, but will report within hours to be assessed by medical staff.
